There is a love that does not ask to be remembered, yet changes a city's destiny forever. It is the love of Anna Maria Luisa de' Medici, last heir of a dynasty that made Florence the capital of beauty.
On 31 October 1737 she signed the “Family Pact”: she donated to the city the entire artistic heritage the Medici had gathered over three centuries, on one condition — that nothing should ever leave Florence. Thanks to her, the Uffizi, Palazzo Pitti and their collections are still here, for everyone.
Our Family Room is dedicated to this silent, immense gesture: a spacious yet intimate room with elegant finishes and soft light, evoking the elegance of a court that knew how to turn wealth into shared beauty.
Designed for families and small groups, it sleeps up to 5 people, with a cot or baby bed on request, books for children and a baby-sitting service on request.
